I was quite concerned about the photoshoot on Saturday. It was quite windy and we were supposed to have an outdoor shoot. BUT - it was AMAZING! Christine (of Christine Meeker Studios) is absolutely amazing. She had 2 of her staff helping - one with a wind block shield and the other with a sun reflector shield. We had to wait between wind gusts and then she would snap away. Both kids cooperated like little angels. I cannot wait to preview the photos next week. I'm sure I'll be in tears again!
Photos were absolutely amazing! As I sat there watching the video of the photos, my mind was racing as to where each were to be placed in the book. I have decided on the artwork for the front and back covers. The rest of the photos will be published in the book. As soon as I get the photos, I will load them to this site. Great job and thanks to Christine Meeker Studios!
Slow weekend for writing. Devoted all of my time to kids and dad's birthday party. I did manage to get another chapter written. Very touching one at that - tears flowed! Another step closer.
So I have found I'm not a diligent blogger. There are just not enough hours in the day! Needless to say....I have spent countless hours and have now completed the book. June 17th is the actual publication date! Now the fun begins...

ReplyDeleteSpent most of the weekend writing. Incredibly productive weekend! I'd say, at this point, I'm about 50% done with the writing portion - first draft.
ReplyDeletePhotoshoot preview tomorrow....
